1. #ShareTheGoals Scholarship – $10,000 – Monthly Winners Plus A Grand Winner

The University Network believes that all students and educators should be aware of the Sustainable Development Goals, and thus have created this scholarship. You have to create a video or an infographic, or write an essay illustrating the importance of the goals. A total of $10,000 will be awarded to 10 distinct winners – one winner will be chosen each month from September 2016 to June 2017; then in July 2017, one GRAND winner (selected from the pool of monthly winners) will win an additional $5,000.

2. Spread the Word on Safety Scholarship – $1,000 – Apply annually by January 6

This $1,000 scholarship by Beyond Wellness puts the scholarship in the control of the qualifying candidates: once the student’s application and essay goes live, they are given full control to share it socially. Candidates whose essay reaches the highest amount of social shares will be selected as the winner, so start spreading the word on safety as soon as possible.

3. Girls Impact the World Film Festival Scholarship – Up to $5,000 – Apply annually by January 18

The Girls Impact the World Film Festival, presented by the Harvard College Social Innovation Collaborative (SIC) and Connecther, is a film festival and scholarship program in which high school and undergraduate college students submit 3-6 minute short films that focus on a variety of global women’s issues, including maternal health, microfinance initiatives, child-marriage, sex-trafficking, poverty alleviation, etc.
