“The goal of this contest is to raise awareness of the dangers of alcohol abuse and addictions and help motivate people struggling with the alcohol abuse issues to reach our for help.” – AlcoRehab

Eligibility: 

  • Must be enrolled full-time in a U.S. institution for graduate or undergraduate program; U.S. territories are excluded.
  • Must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. Nationals, U.S. Permanent Residents, Refugees, Asylees, Cuban-Haitian Entrants, or Humanitarian Parolee.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Cannot be owners, volunteers, their children, and grandchildren, DACA students, International students, Temporary residents.

How to Apply/Requirements:

  • Read the Rules and Regulations.
  • Write an essay of no more than 1,200 words answering the following questions:
  1. How does alcohol abuse and addiction affect the modern society?
  2. What steps can be taken to decrease the impact of alcohol abuse and addictions on people and society?

Deadline: February 1st of each year

Amount(s):

1st place: $3,000

2nd place: $2,000

3rd place: 1,000
