Applying for scholarships can be time-consuming, especially when you have to write lengthy essays to enter contests for small awards. But it doesn’t have to be! These easy-to-apply scholarships do not require an essay, and many can be completed in just a few minutes.
“No Essay” College Scholarship
Niche.com, an online school ranking and review site, offers the “No Essay” College Scholarship, a $2,000 scholarship awarded on a monthly basis.

Eligibility:
- Must be at least 18 years of age, or at least 13 years of age with a parent or guardian’s consent and supervision

$2,000 Nitro Scholarship
Nitro, a website that provides resources and advice relating to student finances, offers a monthly $2,000 scholarship open to current and soon-to-be college students or their parents. The scholarship is offered once per calendar month, with applications due on the final day of each month.

Credit card brand Discover offers a scholarship open to high school seniors, undergraduate, and graduate students. This scholarship is offered in the form of a sweepstakes on a monthly basis. Students need only fill out a short online survey in order to apply.

Eligibility:
- Must be a resident of the United States
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must be a high school senior, college student, or a student who has earned a General Education Development (GED) or equivalent
- Must be enrolled at least half-time in a bachelor’s, associate’s degree, or graduate program at an eligible school within one year of confirmation
- Employees and the immediate family of employees of Discover Products, Inc, Merkle, Inc., and their affiliate and parent companies may not apply

ACS Scholars Award
The American Chemical Society (ACS) runs a scholarship program that awards more than $1,000,000 in scholarships to over 300 students each year. The ACS scholarship is a merit scholarship awarded to students from minority backgrounds pursuing careers in chemistry and related disciplines. The application does not require an essay, but students will need to submit various documents during the application process, including letters of recommendation, grade transcripts, and a student aid report.

Eligibility:
- Must be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States (inquire via email with questions regarding DACA or asylum status)

“Be Bold” No-Essay Scholarship
Bold.org, a website that helps pair students with scholarship opportunities, offers a no-essay scholarship to students who have profiles on the Bold.org platform. Students of all majors may apply. Applications are judged based on the “boldness” of the student’s profile, defined as bearing the following qualities: “earnest”, “determined,” and “moving.”

Award Amount: $25,085

- Open to students at any education level, school, and field of study
- No GPA requirement
- Must have a profile on bold.org

DoSomething Easy Scholarships
DoSomething is a global nonprofit organization that offers scholarships to students who participate in various volunteering and community service activities.
Application Deadline: First day of every month
Scholarship Amount: $1,000 or more
Eligibility:
- Must be 25 years of age or younger
- Must live in the United States or Canada (or are a citizen of either country who is living abroad)
- Must complete all action steps and verify your participation in scholarship eligible campaigns on the DoSomething website
How to Apply: DoSomething scholarships have various requirements depending on the specific campaign. Interested students may apply by signing up for one or more of the campaigns and following the action steps for those campaigns that they participate in.
Cirkled In “No Sweat” Scholarship
Cirkled In, a portfolio platform that helps students showcase their non-academic work to colleges, offers the “No Sweat” Scholarship. This monthly scholarship is worth a total of $2,500 which may be used on any educational purposes, including books, tuition, and even summer camps.

CC Bank’s Young Scholars Scholarship
Each year, CC Bank offers up to five $2,000 scholarships to students attending universities, colleges, and other academic institutions in the United States.
Applying for the annual CC Bank Young Scholars Scholarship is easy. All that those interested have to do is fill out a brief application form.

Emergency Dentists USA Video Scholarship
Emergency Dentists USA, a directory that helps connect patients with dentists in emergency situations, offers a scholarship for college and high school students of all majors.

- Must not be an employee or a family member of an employee of Emergency Dentists USA
- Must be a high school or college student

How to Apply: Interested students must create a video on the following topic: “Tell (or enact for us) what superpower you would love to have and how you would use it to help create better dental health in all people!” Students can submit their videos by uploading them to the internet and sending a link to the sponsor or by emailing the video directly. Submissions are judged on entertainment value, innovation, value to dental health, and production quality.
Sallie Mae $1,000 Monthly Sweepstakes
Student loan servicer Sallie Mae offers a $1,000 scholarship to students who simply apply for their Scholarship Search and College Planning Calculator, a tool that connects students with scholarships and provides automated college finance planning advice. This is a monthly sweepstakes. One winner is selected on the first day of every month, drawn from all entries made in the previous month.

Barbara Lotze Scholarship for Future Physics Teachers
The American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) offers the Barbara Lotze Scholarship for Future Physics Teachers, a scholarship designed to support students who are studying toward a career teaching physics at the high school level. In addition to the scholarship award, winning students will receive a complimentary AAPT Student Membership for one year. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years.
