NMF Scholarships

Amount: Up to $25,000.

About:
The National Medical Fellowships (NMF), a nonprofit organization, awards scholarships to students of medicine, behavioral health, and related health professions. The NMF scholarship programs recognize merit as well as financial need. To apply for any of the scholarships, applicants must have proof of U.S. citizenship or permanent residence or a DACA approval letter; be currently enrolled in an accredited, graduate-level U.S. health care program; be culminating MD, MD/PhD, DO, or DO/PhD programs, unless otherwise specified; have demonstrated financial need; have demonstrated leadership ability; and have demonstrated and continuing commitment to serving medically underserved communities. In addition to these general requirements, individual scholarship programs may have additional eligibility requirements. Each year, the NMF Scholarships are awarded by cycle. There are 3 cycles, with each cycle having different available scholarships.

Eligible Grade Levels: Dental Student, Medical Student, Graduate-level Nursing

Eligible Majors: Dental, Medicine, Nursing

Residency Requirement: No residency requirement

Minimum GPA: No GPA requirement

Deadline: February 23, 2026
