Pittsburgh Promise Scholarship

Amount: $5,000 per year ($20,000 maximum). About: The Pittsburgh Promise Foundation offers last dollar scholarships to Pittsburgh public high school graduates to help them pay for their college, trade, or technical school education. Applicants must be enrolled in a Pittsburgh public or charter schools (and have attended continuously since the 9th grade), have been residents of Pittsburgh since the 9th grade, and graduate with a GPA of 2.5 or above and an attendance record of 90% or above. Applicants must complete the FAFSA and PA State Grant Form (PHEAA) as early as possible (Oct.1) and no later than May 1.

Eligible Majors: All majors
Residency Requirement: Pennsylvania
Minimum GPA: 2.5
