Amount: $40,000. About: Offered by The San Diego Foundation, the Breslauer Family Scholarships is a $40,000 award to support the education of students from California. Applicants be San Diego county residents; be graduating seniors from San Diego High School (in downtown San Diego only) who plan to attend an accredited four-year university in the United States; have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale; show a strong commitment to their community as demonstrated by their involvement in extra-curricular activities and/or work/volunteer experience; and, have a demonstrated financial need, as evidenced by an adjusted gross family income of equal to or less than $40,000.
