About: Offered by American Cancer Society, the Graduate Scholarships in Cancer Nursing Practice is a $20,000 award to provide support to graduate students pursuing a master’s degree in cancer nursing or doctorate of nursing practice. Applicants must be currently enrolled in or applying to a master’s or DNP degree graduate program with demonstrated integration of cancer content; must have a current license to practice as a registered nurse. Students in bridge programs must have passed the N-CLEX examination and updated their status with the ACS Program Office by the time the award begins; must be pursuing an advance degree and not solely a post-master’s certificate.
