Amount: $3,000. About: Offered by Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan, the Donna W. Adams Scholarships is a $3,000 award to provide scholarships for postsecondary education to graduate of Detroit Public Schools. Applicants must be graduating seniors from any Detroit Public School who are also graduates of an eastside Detroit Public elementary school (see website for complete list); must have been accepted or will be enrolled at an accredited public college or university in the United States on a full-time basis; must demonstrate exemplary desire, ability, and good grades; must show leadership and character through extracurricular activities, volunteer involvement, and work experience in school and/or the community; must demonstrate financial need.
