AWS Barbara and Richard Couch Hypertherm Scholarship

Amount: $2,500. About: Offered by the American Welding Society (AWS), the Barbara and Richard Couch Hypertherm Scholarship awards students pursuing two- or four-year degrees in an engineering or technical field relating to welding and cutting. Applicants must be in their final year of high school at the time they apply. Named for the founders of Hypertherm, an industrial cutting technology manufacturer, the scholarship is awarded with preference to the sons and daughters of Hypertherm employees. Applications open on December 1, annually.

Eligible Majors: Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Process Engineering
Residency Requirement: No residency requirement
Minimum GPA: 3.0
