About: Step Up For Students, a Florida nonprofit scholarship funding organization, helps administer four scholarships for Florida schoolchildren, which “empowers families to pursue and engage in the most appropriate learning options for their children.” The Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program (FTC) is for lower to middle income families. The Family Empowerment Scholarship (FES), formerly known as the Gardiner Scholarship, is for lower to middle income families and students with unique abilities.
