Amount: $2,500. About: Each year, the United Mine Workers of America (UMWA) administers the Lorin E. Kerr Scholarship. Applicants must be current members of the UMWA or be the dependent or grandchild of a current member. Additionally, applicants must be admitted to or enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university in the United States or Canada.
