Northrop Grumman SWE Scholarship

Amount: $4,500. About: Offered by Society of Women Engineers, the Northrop Grumman SWE Scholarship is a $4,500 award to help women achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expand the image of the engineering profession as a positive force improving the quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity. Applicants must be a U.S. citizenship; must attend U.S University; must identify as a woman; be studying engineering or computer science full time at the collegiate level in the upcoming academic year or are a re-entry student; have a high school GPA above 3.5 or a university GPA above 3.0; incoming collegiate freshman through graduate student; studying full-time (exceptions made for reentry/nontraditional students); students who are current SWE Collegiate or SWENext members; must be planning to attend a school with ABET-accredited programs; undergraduate and community college applicants must be planning to study an ABET-accredited program in engineering, technology, or computing in the upcoming academic year; masters and PhD candidates must be enrolled or accepted at a school with ABET-accredited programs in engineering, computing, or technology. 5 awards are made annually.
