Amount: $3,500. About: Offered by FICPA Scholarship Foundation, the North Dade-South Broward Chapter Endowed Scholarship is a $3,500 award to provide scholarship(s) to a 4th year, 5th year, or graduate accounting student attending a partnering South Florida college or university. Applicants must be full-time or part-time college student; must majoring in accounting or a related subject; must attending any partnering college or university in the state of Florida with an accredited accounting program; must be an active member of the FICPA; must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA and at least a 3.0 upper-level accounting GPA at the time of submission; must be at least a rising college senior or graduate student with at least one upper-division accounting course at the time of submission; must be planning to sit for the CPA exam and be actively working towards fulfilling the requirements for certification in Florida; must indicate a desire to work in Florida; must be a citizen of the United States or hold permanent residency status.
