NAACP x Society Awards Scholarship

Amount: Up to $5,000. About: The NAACP x Society Awards Scholarship is one of many awards available to Black students and students of color through NAACP’s Inspire Initiatives. Each year, three awards in the amount of $5,000, $2,000, and $1,000 each are awarded to outstanding students pursuing undergraduate degrees. Applicants must be a member of the NAACP; be Black or a person of color; be currently enrolled full-time or accepted to an accredited college or university in the United States; be a graduating high school senior or undergraduate student; demonstrate interest in pursuing a career in the visual/performing arts field (e.g., film, theatre, fashion, photography, graphic design, dance, music, journalism, or mass communications); and be a U.S. resident or citizen.
Eligible Grade Levels: High School Senior, College Freshman, College Sophomore, College Junior, College Senior
Eligible Majors: Visual Arts, Performing Arts
Residency Requirement: No residency requirement
Minimum GPA: No GPA requirement
