About:
The Hubertus W. V. Willems Scholarship is one of many awards available to Black male students through NAACP’s Inspire Initiatives. Each year, $3,000 is awarded to 25 outstanding students pursuing undergraduate degrees. Applicants must be a member of the NAACP; be a Black or African American male; be currently enrolled full-time or accepted to an accredited college or university in the United States; be a graduating high school senior, current undergraduate or graduate student; possess a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 system; demonstrate interest in pursuing a career in the field(s) of engineering, chemistry, physics, and/or mathematical sciences; demonstrate financial need; and be a U.S. resident or citizen.

Eligible Grade Levels: High School Senior, College Freshman, College Sophomore, College Junior, College Senior, Graduate Student

Eligible Majors: Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, Mathematical Sciences

Residency Requirement: No residency requirement

Minimum GPA: 3.0
