GMIS STEM Scholarships

Amount: Up to $5,000.

About:
Each year, Great Minds in STEM (GMIS) awards scholarships to students pursuing STEM degrees. Applicants must be of Hispanic descent and/or demonstrate “significant leadership or service within the underserved community,” be enrolled full-time in a STEM undergraduate or graduate program for the upcoming fall semester at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the United States or its territories, and meet a minimum GPA requirement of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Eligible Grade Levels: High School Senior, College Freshman, College Sophomore, College Junior, College Senior, Graduate Student

Eligible Majors: Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Health

Residency Requirement: No residency requirement

Minimum GPA: 3.0

Deadline: May 8, 2026.
