Offered by The Museum of Flight, the Frank “Sam” and Betty Houston Post-Secondary STEM Education is a $30,000 award to provide financial support to Washington students pursuing degrees in aerospace. Applicants must be a high school senior who is a U.S. citizen residing in the state of Washington; must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and have taken at least four years of high school mathematics and science; must have participated in at least 40 hours of programs supported by The Museum of Flight; must plan to enroll as a full-time undergraduate student in a college, university, or other postsecondary institution located in the U.S. by Fall and remain on full-time status over the four years that the scholarship will be awarded; must major in a field related to aerospace; must maintain a minimum 3.0 for the scholarship to continue over four years.
Eligible Grade Levels: College Freshman, College Sophomore, College Junior, College Senior, High School Senior
Eligible Majors: Engineering
Residency Requirement: Washington
Minimum GPA: 3.5
