Amount: $3,000. About: Offered by Society of Women Engineers, the Brill Family Scholarship is a $3,000 award to help women achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expand the image of the engineering profession as a positive force improving the quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity. Applicants must be a person who identifies as a woman; must be planning to pursue or currently pursuing an engineering technology or computing program that is accredited by the national board of accreditation of India or a SWE Affiliate; must have planning to enroll as a full-time student in the upcoming academic year; must not be receiving full funding for tuition fees and books or equivalent; not have to be a member of SWE to be eligible; who are current SWE collegiate or SWENext members are highly encouraged eligible; must have a high school GPA above 3.5 or University GPA above 3.0.
