AIST Judith A. Quinn Detroit Member Chapter Scholarship

Amount: $2,500 $5,000. About: Offered by Association for Iron and Steel Technology, the AIST Judith A. Quinn Detroit Member Chapter Scholarship is a $2,500 $5,000 award to provide financial support for students who are pursuing a career in engineering. Applicants must be a child or grandchild of an AIST Detroit member chapter member in good standing for two or more consecutive years; the applicant must be an undergraduate student enrolled full-time and majoring in the field of engineering, metallurgy or materials science program at an accredited North American university; the applicant should have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, with a demonstrated interest in a career, or plans to pursue a career, in the iron and steel industry; the awards will be made without regard to financial need; students may re-apply each year. 2 awards are made annually.
