About:
Offered by the Point Foundation, the Point Access Scholarship supports LGBTQ+ and ally students who are pursuing undergraduate, graduate, or professional degrees at accredited colleges and universities in the United States. In addition to financial support, Flagship scholarship recipients receive access to multiple leadership development programs, mentorship or coaching, and the support of a community of scholars and alumni. To qualify, applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3; be enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking undergraduate, graduate, or professional program at an accredited, not-for-profit college or university in the United States; have a connection and commitment to the LGBTQ+ and ally community; and be at least a senior in high school. Additionally, applicants who have previously been awarded a Point Scholarship must have exited their former program with active status. The award is based on need and is renewable for up to four years.
