Administered by the Nucor Foundation, the Ernest S. Mike DeLaney III Foundation Scholarship is awarded to one student of each year who is graduating from a public high school in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and intends to pursue an undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, or a law-related major. Applicants cannot be employed by Nucor or be the immediate family member of any Nucor employee.

Eligible Grade Levels: High School Senior

Eligible Majors: Accounting, Business, Finance, Law-related

Residency Requirement: North Carolina

Minimum GPA: No GPA requirement

Deadline: March 1, 2026
