Blacks at Microsoft Scholarship

Amount: $20,000 (disbursed over 4 years), $2,500 (one-time). About: Each year, Microsoft awards scholarships to Black and African American students to help them attend college and pursue careers in technology. Each applicant must be a U.S.-based high school senior of African descent, plan to attend a four-year college or university immediately following high school graduation, plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, computer information systems, or select business programs, demonstrate a passion for technology, demonstrate leadership at school or in the community, have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher, and demonstrate financial need.
Eligible Grade Levels: High School Senior
Eligible Majors: Business, Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Finance
Residency Requirement: No residency requirement
Minimum GPA: 3.3
