Amount: $5,000. About: Offered by Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, the Kelly Williams Memorial Scholarship is a $5,000 award to purpose of the fund shall be to provide scholarships to the children, nieces, nephews and grandchildren of Altec industries employees who are pursuing a degree in engineering at a two-year or four-year college or university. Applicants must be a high school graduate with a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.5; and have an ACT composite score of 24 or above along with an ACT mathematics score of 28 or above; or the SAT equivalent and be enrolled or planning to enroll as a full-time student at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university; and be pursuing a degree in engineering; and be pursuing a degree in engineering provide a document outlining applicants enrollment into an engineering program; previous scholarship recipients may not reapply for future awards from the fund.
