Amount: $10,000. About: Offered by Navy League of the United States, the John G. Brokaw Scholarship is a $10,000 award to offer scholarships for high school seniors who will attend an accredited institution of higher education in the Fall of the current award cycle. Applicants must be a student properly enrolled in any curriculum at an accredited institution of higher education who is the child or grandchild of a member of the sea services, to include the United States Navy, United States Marine Corps, United States Coast Guard, and U.S.-flag Merchant Marine; other respects, these funds will be awarded without restriction to race, gender, national origin, religion, age sexual orientation, or disability.
