Amount: $4,000. About: Offered by American Nuclear Society, the Robert E. Uhrig Graduate Scholarship is a $4,000 award to support students pursuing graduate studies in nuclear engineering with a focus in the field of human factors, instrumentation, and controls. Applicant must be a U.S. and non-U.S. applicants must be a graduate student enrolled full-time in an accredited U.S. university engaged in MS or Ph.D. research into technical aspects of human factors, instrumentation and/or controls; students pursuing graduate studies in nuclear engineering with a focus in the field of human factors, instrumentation, and controls; undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in a course of study relating to a degree in nuclear science, nuclear engineering, or a nuclear related field; ANS members from established international student sections may also apply.
