Offered by American Nuclear Society, the John and Muriel Landis Scholarships (NEED Committee) is a $5,000 award to support a undergraduate and graduate students who have greater than average financial need. Applicants must be planning a career in nuclear science, nuclear engineering, or a nuclear-related field and be enrolled or planning to enroll in a college or university located in the United States, but need not be U.S. citizens; qualified high school seniors are eligible to apply for this scholarship as an incoming freshman; must be undergraduate graduate (masters or Ph.D.); ANS members from established international student sections may also apply; incoming freshmen scholarships are open to graduating high-school seniors who have enrolled, full-time, in college courses and are pursuing a degree in nuclear engineering or have the intent to pursue a degree in nuclear engineering.
Eligible Grade Levels: Graduate Student, College Freshman, College Sophomore, College Junior, College Senior, High School Senior
Eligible Majors: Engineering
Residency Requirement: No residency requirement
Minimum GPA: No GPA requirement
Deadline: February 1.
