About: Freedom From Religion Foundation offers David Hudak Memorial Essay Contest for Black, Indigenous and Students, an annual essay contest, with a top prize of $200 $3,500, to provide support and acknowledgement for freethinking students of color, as a minority within a minority. Applicants must be freethinking students of color between the ages of 17-21, who are either graduating high school seniors who will be attending a North American college or university in the fall, or students who are currently enrolled in the same. People of color includes all racial groups that are not white.
