Applicants must be eligible family members (children and spouses) of active duty, retired, or honorably discharged Surface Navy personnel; applicants must be a spouse or a child who is a high school senior, current college student, or dependent planning to, or currently pursuing, full-time study for their first associate’s, bachelor’s (BA or BS) degree at a 2- or 4-year college or university, or an industry certification program in the United States; a child applicant must be up to the age of 22 as of March 1 of the scholarship award year; not every applicant is eligible for every endowed or administered scholarship.
