Amount: $3,500. About: Offered by North Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association, the William F. Carl Scholarship is a $3,500 award to children of employees working in the hospitality industry. Applicants must be a undergraduates enrolling for the upcoming academic year at two-year and/or four-year colleges and universities; GPA must be a minimum 3.0 on a weighted scale for high school seniors and unweighted scale for college undergraduate students at the time of application; grants awards to any student under 24 years of age who is attending two- or four-year community colleges or university program in North Carolina.
