Amount: $3,000. About: Offered by the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Yount, Hyde & Barbour Scholarship provides $3,000 to minority students pursuing an accounting degree. Applicants must be a junior, senior, or fifth-year accounting major at an accredited Virginia college, intend to take the CPA exam, maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, and be a VSCPA student member.
