About: Offered by Silicon Valley Community Foundation, The Abby Sobrato LCPA Alumni Scholarship is a $5,000 award to support graduates of the Latino College Preparatory Academy (LCPA) in San José, Calif. who intend to pursue postsecondary education but have financial need. Applicants must be a graduate of the Latino College Prep Academy (LCPA); must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a two- or four-year college or vocational school as a part-time or full-time undergraduate or graduate student; must have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
