Eligibility Requirements*
The criteria for students applying for this scholarship are as follows:
- High school seniors/students in their final year of upper secondary school or graduates, or current college/university undergraduates
- Enrollment in full-time or half-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical college (or equivalent) for the entire upcoming academic year
- Pursuing a degree in a STEM-related field, such as Science (natural sciences, including biology, physics, chemistry), Technology, Engineering, and Math-related majors (including statistics, data science, economics, commerce etc.)
- Demonstrated financial need
- Demonstrated efforts to advance from a disadvantaged situation, or have done significant work to support others who are attempting to advance from a disadvantaged situation
- Reside in a country with a Teradata presence, listed below:
- North America: United States, Canada, Mexico
- Latin America: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru
- Europe: Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom
- Middle East & Africa: Egypt, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates
- Asia-Pacific: Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan
*Note: Teradata employees are not eligible to apply. Assuming they meet all of the above eligibility requirements, children of Teradata employees are eligible to apply. Children of employees are not given preference or special consideration.
