About: Offered by Institute of Management Accountants, the Stuart Cameron & Margaret McLeod Memorial Scholarship (SCMS) is a $5,000 award to help offers a scholarship to a graduate or undergraduate student based on specific criteria. Applicants must be full- and part-time students are encouraged to apply (must carry at least six credits per semester); scholarship is awarded to a student who is studying at an accredited institution; a current student who will be continuing in a program in the upcoming academic year; applicant must be an IMA student member; applicant needs to have expressed the intent of pursuing a career in management accounting, financial management, or information technology; a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required among all institutions attended throughout the applicant’s undergraduate/graduate academic career; additionally, student will be requested to sit for at least one part of the CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) exam before the completion of degree; previous winners are NOT eligible for this award. 2 awards are made annually.
