Amount: Up to $8,000. About: Each year, the Sacramento Press Club offers scholarships to aspiring journalists. Applicants must be rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students and “have a connection to the nine-county Sacramento region.” There are three ways to have a connection to the region, including by being from the region, going to college in the region, or by showing an interest in covering news in the region.

Minimum GPA: No GPA requirement
