Amount: $5,000. About: American Welding Society offers Robert L. Peaslee Brazing Scholarship, an annual competition, with a top prize of $5,000, to provide for students pursuing a bachelor’s or associate degree in welding or a related discipline; to recognize and support outstanding students, enabling them to pursue their educational goals and contribute to the development of their nation. Applicants must be a member of AWS; student must be enrolled in vocational schools, technical colleges, community colleges, or universities.
