Ramsey Education Scholarship Rules

Ramsey Education is committed to empowering students with the financial knowledge and skills they need to succeed after graduation. Through their comprehensive financial literacy curricula , they teach young people the right way to handle money, including  budgeting, saving, and avoiding debt. Their curriculum, designed for high school students, emphasizes the importance of financial responsibility, preparing students to navigate the real-world with confidence, security and hope.

Ramsey Education extends this mission by providing financial support to students who demonstrate a passion for financial literacy and a commitment to responsible money management. By offering scholarships, they not only invest in students’ education but also support students in pursuing education and training after high school without using debt.

Scholarship Amount

Five (5) scholarships in the amount of $1,000 (“Scholarship” or “Scholarship Prize”) each.

Twenty (20) additional runners-up each will be awarded one (1) one-year subscription to EveryDollar Premium (“Subscription Prize”). 

Eligible Students: Must be a high school senior who has successfully completed or is taking one of the following courses:

  • Foundations in Personal Finance
  • Foundations in Entrepreneurship
  • Foundations in Personal Finance Homeschool

Scholarship Deadline

May 31, 2025

Potential winners will be selected by June 30, 2025 (verification of eligibility of potential winners by July 15, 2025)

Scholarship Requirements: Students can apply in ONE of the following two ways:

  • Essay – By writing an essay of 350-500 words on how your thinking has changed about money and how you will handle finances as an adult.
  • Video – By creating a short video of 30-60 seconds on the same prompt.
