Amount: $2,500. About: Offered by the American Welding Society (AWS), the Praxair International Scholarship is an annual award for students pursuing careers in welding engineering or welding engineering technology. Applicants must be U.S. or Canadian citizens who are at least 18 years old and are enrolled as full-time students in the United States or Canada. Applicants need to be majoring in a field of welding engineering and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. The scholarship award is based upon leadership abilities. Application opens on December 1, annually.
