The Potato Leadership, Education, and Advancement Foundation (Potato LEAF) offers a $10,000 scholarship to graduate students with a strong interest in research related to the potato industry. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and be completing either a master’s or doctoral degree. Entries are judged based on various criteria, including academic achievement, leadership abilities, potato-related areas of graduate study, benefit to the U.S. potato industry/commercial value, extracurricular activities, and grades. Awardees are required to submit a one-page report on their research project or projects in April 2026 to the Potato LEAF Board of Directors.
