NAACP Scholarships

Amount: Up to $10,000. About: Each year, as part of its Inspire Initiatives, the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) offers a variety of need-based and merit scholarships to Black students who are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. While the award amounts, age, and eligibility requirements vary with each scholarship, applicants must meet the following general requirements: be a member of the NAACP; be Black or African American; be currently enrolled full-time or accepted to an accredited college or university in the United States; be a graduating high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student (depending on the applicable scholarship); have a grade point average of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 system; and demonstrate interest in a relevant field of study (depending on the applicable scholarship).

Eligible Majors: All majors
Residency Requirement: No residency requirement
Minimum GPA: 3.0
