About: Offered by Kott Gerontology Scholarship Program, the Kott Gerontology Scholarship is a $10,000 award to the Kott Gerontology Scholars Program (KGSP) advances the field of aging in an effort to bolster opportunities, engagement and quality of life among older adults. KGSP provides internship scholarships to promising graduate students interested in the aging field who are attending Chicagoland-area universities. The KGSP encourages and supports graduate students in a variety of professional specializations to develop skills that will engage and prepare them to continue working with and on behalf of older adults after graduation. Applicants are Chicagoland-area graduate students entering their final year of study and interested in the aging field. Full-time students. 5 awards are made annually.
