Amount: $3,500. About: Offered by Michigan Water Environment Association, the John P. Hennessey Scholarship is a $3,500 award to recognize a Michigan student who is enrolled in a degree program in engineering, public health or the natural sciences who intends to pursue a career in the water environment field. Applicant must be an undergraduate or graduate student currently attending a Michigan college or university; must be pursuing a course of study leading to a career in Wastewater Treatment, or in some other aspect of the water environment field.; must have at least a 2.5 academic average, on a 4.0 GPA academic scale.
