About: Offered by Miss America Organization, the Jean Bartel Scholarship for Military Awareness is a $3,000 award to support the individuals who have gone above and beyond in their dedication to community service and improving the lives of others. Applicants must be women who have competed on the local, state, or national level from 2008 to present, regardless of whether a title was won; previous recipients are eligible. 3 awards are made annually.
