Amount: $3,000. About: Offered by the Idaho State Board of Education, the Idaho Governor’s Cup Scholarship helps local students pursue higher education. Each applicant must be a resident of Idaho, be a senior graduating from an Idaho high school or home school, enroll as a full-time student in an academic or technical program at an Idaho college or university, take the SAT or ACT if enrolling in an academic program, meet a minimum 2.8 GPA requirement, and attend at least the first semester of college after graduation. Preference is given to students involved in community service. Applicants must provide documentation of volunteer work, leadership, and public service.
