About the Generation Google Scholarship (North America)

Google offers the General Google Scholarship (North America) for students pursuing degrees and careers in computer science and technology. In awarding scholarships, Google considers each student’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion; demonstrated leadership; and academic performance. Students from groups that are historically underrepresented in technology are encouraged to apply, including students who are women, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, American Indian, or Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander.
Scholarship Amount: $10,000 (USA), $5,000 (Canada)
Eligible Grade Levels: High School Senior, College Freshman, College Sophomore, College Junior, College Senior, Graduate Student, Postgraduate Student
Eligible Majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field
Residency Requirement: There is no state residency requirement for this scholarship.
Minimum GPA: There is no minimum GPA requirement for this scholarship.
