Amount: Up to $20,000. About: Each year, the Fukunaga Scholarship Foundation awards scholarships to students from Hawai‘i who are pursuing a career in business. Applicants must be a US citizen, a resident of the state of Hawai‘i, have declared intent to enter a degree program in business or a related field, be currently enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited four-year college or university as a full-time undergraduate student, and meet a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0. Students just entering college will be awarded four-year scholarships in increments of $5,000 annually. Students already enrolled in college will receive awards based on their remaining years of courses, up to $5,000 per year. Applicants are evaluated based on academic standing, leadership ability, financial need, and a commitment to pursue a career in business.
