About: Offered by For A Bright Future Foundation, the For A Bright Future – Veterans and Families Scholarship is a $2 $500 $10,000 award to the Veterans & Family Scholarship gives preference to military veterans and their families. The scholarship supports students pursuing a degree in education or S.T.E.M. or sustainability. To qualify, must be a minority graduating high school senior or current college student. Must reside and study in the United States. Must have a 3.0 GPA. Must be between the ages of 17 and 30 years old. Must be planning to attend college in the next academic year. Must be majoring in a STEM, education, or sustainability degree. Must be a military veteran or the family member of a military veteran. 18 awards are made.
