Offered by Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund, the FMA-FEEA Scholarship Program is a $1,000 $5,000 award to offer FMA members merit-based, educational scholarships. Applicants must be full- or part-time permanent civilian federal or postal employees; children or legal dependents of full- or part-time permanent federal civilian or postal employees; dependents must be under the age of 25 and a current dependent of their sponsor; spouses of full- or part-time permanent civilian federal or postal employees; grandchildren of Blacks in Government (BIG) federal employee members, American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) members, or Professional Managers Association (PMA) members; legal dependents of non-federal BIG members (only eligible for the BIG scholarship); must be children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of current members of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE); NARFE applicants must be high school seniors only; applicants must have a 3.0 or higher cumulative, unweighted grade point average.
