About:
Offered by the Unico National Foundation, the Dr. Benjamin Cottone Memorial Scholarship is annually awarded to Italian American students pursuing careers in medicine. Applicants must reside in the home state of an active UNICO Chapter; be a U.S. citizen with Italian heritage; be a senior at a campus-based public or private college/university (or have a degree) who will be pursuing a medical doctor or doctor of osteopathy degree, or be currently enrolled in an accredited medical school within the United States; and be pursuing their study within the academic year of the scholarship grant.

Eligible Grade Levels: College Senior, Medical Student

Eligible Majors: Medicine, Osteopathy

Residency Requirement: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Wisconsin

Minimum GPA: No GPA requirement
