About: Offered by Edmonton Community Foundation, the Don and Norine Lowry Awards for Women of Excellence is a $1,000 $5,000 award to provide assistance to women of all ages in pursuit of their goals in the fields of water, power, finance, energy, accounting, healthcare, safety or community relations. Applicants must be are a woman; are a resident of the City of Edmonton; surrounding municipalities are not eligible; are a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident; we seek candidates pursuing education in water, power, engineering, healthcare (MD, Nursing), business (finance, marketing), technology (IT), or safety related fields; education in the fields of energy, power, water, business administration, finance, safety, information technology, emergency management, communications, or healthcare and are residents of Edmonton.
