Amount: $5,000. About: Offered by Cherokee Nation Foundation, the Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Leadership Scholarship is a $5,000 award to support Cherokee Nation students pursuing postsecondary education who have a desire to give back to the Cherokee Nation. Applicant must be a citizen of the Cherokee Nation; must be a current, full-time student at a two- or four-year higher education institution, or a graduating high school senior accepted to a two- or four-year higher education institution; must have a minimum 3.0 GPA; must exemplify leadership qualities and an interest and desire to give back to the Cherokee people.
